Air travel is a convenient and often necessary way to travel, especially for vacations. However, did you know that airplanes release greenhouse gases in the stratosphere, where they can do proportionately more harm than cars for short trips? The aviation industry is working to cut back on greenhouse gas emissions from planes and increase fuel efficiency, and airports are increasing the electrification of ground support equipment.
Almost Car Free
Remember - Car Free does not have to be an all-or-nothing proposition. If you replace just ONE car trip with a car-free trip, you're on the way to a guilt free, clean air adventure.
